MMI in South Asia

In S Asia Christianity is generally allowed constitutionally. However because it is a minority religion, Christians are invariably discriminated against.There is often a climate of fear in Christian communities. Church meetings can be low key affairs, so as not to attract unwanted attention from the authorities and non Christian public. That said, there are allegedly 10,000 Pentecostal churches across India and in many places in that largely Hindu country, the name of Jesus is proclaimed.
